Simply Stars Blog Hop

Good morning everyone!!

I'm super excited for our first Simply Stars Blog Hop!  My project combines a little MDS, with some Simply Scored to make some fantastic Halloween Home Decor.


I've been making alot of these banners lately and really enjoyed putting this one together.  It is a hybrid project using both traditional scrapbooking techniques and MDS.

Here's the recipe:

Paper:  Howlstooth and Scaringbone DSP, Basic Black, Tangarine Tango, Very Vanilla, and Basic Grey Cardstock
Accessories:  Simply Scored, Perfect Pennants Big Shot Die, 2 3/8 Scallop Punch, 1 3/4 inch circle punch, 1 3/8 inch circle punch, dimensionals, Tombow, linen thread

New In Colors

Good morning!

My goodness it has been quite awhile since I've written a post!!  Time to get back at it!  

Today's project is a set of simple 3 x 3 cards.  Each card showcases our new In Colors.  It's hard to pick a favorite.....but if I really had to........Gumball Green is my favorite, for now.

Can you tell that I love this set?  I really enjoyed making this card.  The colors are so bright and unconventional.  Something different but still fitting to the season.

What a beautiful day!!!

What a beautiful day out today!!  I appreciate the sun so much!!  We were able to get outside this afternoon for some running around.  I've got some tired kids from all the fun last night:)

Today's card is also from my Snow Much Fun class.  It was great to get started on those Christmas cards that I'm determined to get done and sent out this year :)
